Grand Turismo 5 expected to launch in the last 2009

Clearer launch information of the latest series of racing games that become mainstay of Sony PlayStation, Gran Turismo 5 continues to be expected. Having to give as good news, a Sony board tell the release time that expected for a game created by Polyphony Digital.

Quoted from TechRadar, Wednesday (3/12/2008), that is James Armstrong, Chief Executive of Sony Computer Entertainment for Southern Europe states that the Gran Turismo 5 is expected to be launch in Christmas 2009.

If Armstrong serious with the statement, the possibility of Gran Turismo 5 launching will be the first time in Japan then the United States and Europe, followed several weeks later.

For now, the development project of Gran Turismo 5 stated forward. Polyphony for example, working with Nissan to develop the latest models of the Nissan Skyline car in the Gran Turismo 5, so it can be shown in detail. Nissan also make debut of their new car (Nissan 370Z) in other video games of Need For Speed (NFS): Undercover.

Gran Turismo 5 popularity, according to the analysts could be an interpreter for the PS 3 console to return rocking agains the Nintendo Wii and Xbox.

According to the latest sales data from NPD, the market share of PS 3 ranks at the bottom in the United States, which is 18.4 percent. The first position placed by Nintendo Wii with 43.9 percent followed by the Xbox at 37.6 percent.
