Wrath of the Lich King sold with the price of US$ 40 per copy, so no wonder if this game takes successful sales of U.S. $ 112 million in the first day.

More than 11 million active gamers play WoW at this time (some of them pre-ordered the game since September 2008). Some analysts predict that half of the total WoW gamers will switch to the Wrath of the Lich King.
