Genesis in the game began with the rescue mission on the USG Ishimura crew who are missing. However, then it is going to bring you stuck in a plane with full of strange creature that is vicious.
In the adventure as engineer and aero expert system you will be accompanied by some colleagues, such as, a woman named Kendra Daniel and Zach Hammond. Kendra, a computer specialist, will guide you while Zach have full authority to the mission.
Main mission in this game is to survive from the attack of an alien, Necromorphs. In fact, most of the Necromorphs is the result of the bodies mutation from humans being that infected with DNA of alien foreign called Corruption.
In line with that main purpose, you have to do a series of missions that aim to repair the Ishimura. Every deck that you passed in the ship will show a frightening scene. Prepare your self to see blood puddle, dead bodies, until the mustard-monster who is killing.
Served with a steady and HQ sound system, making this game very thriller when played. Moreover, if your computer is supported with soundcard and proper speakers, you will be brought to the tense and intimidating atmosphere when playing this game.
This full of horror action game is not recommended to be played by children. Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) provides M (Mature) rating for this game.
A lot of hard and sadistic scenes can be found in this game. In fact, the game appearance had also become controversial in some countries such as Germany, China and Japan.
