5 Million iPhone 3G Sold

According to the Piper Jaffray research note released Monday September 22nd, 2008 Apple iPhone 3G sold about 5 million in 3 months (quarter). Apple known sold 1 million iPhone 3G in the first weekend it went on sale around the world.

People enthusiasm still high although there are bugs in the iPhone's 2.0 software. And other factor of high selling iPhone is the number of countries that are officially selling the iPhone is increased. It will meet the Apple target for 2008 in 10 million. Not so hard.
