RIM BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 Black (macnn)
T-Mobile already announced that the RIM first BlackBerry flip phone available with two years contract for US$149.99. The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 which previously known as "Kickstart" icludes the same features as BlackBerry Pearl but with:
- Size and Weight - 3.9" x 1.96" x 0.68" and 3.6oz
- Dual LCD - external LCD for preview of messages and calls and internal LCD QVGA 2.4-inch diagonal screen (320x240 pixels) with 65K colors
- Communication - Wi-Fi internet access and Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) for bridging cell and VoIP calling
- Multimedia - 2MP digital camera with flash which support for video recording, media player, games, GPS and maps, headphone jack
- Storage - external microSDHC slot support up to 16GB
- Software - BlackBerry Bold OS 4.6.0.162, full HTML browser, Media Sync software to load iTunes songs
AOL "push" Mail, AIM, and ICQ also works for IMBlackBerry series as RIM and AOL already got a deal to operate those services.
