The iPhone 2.2 firmware beta release is not available yet, maybe until later this month. The firmware will includes Google Maps Street View, disable typing autocorrect and hidden 461 japanese emoji icons.

And an iPhone user already ask for new iPhone feature to delete multiple messages. Right now people can delete a message by swipe the message to be deleted then click delete button (wonder how if you need to delete 100 messages). It will be useful for people who received tons of message daily.
